Visit and Relief work with Nomadic Migrants on the Riverbank

 Mangaluru, 26 June 2021: 

Fr Cyril D'Mello, SJ visited a slum of 7 families on the Netravathi riverbank. These are originally nomadic migrants from Maharashtra. Now settled here for 15 years. Fishing is their main source of livelihood. Watch the following video to know about their living conditions.

Kannada Medium Alumni Sponsors Food Kits

 Mangaluru, 17th, May 2021: The batch of 89 ( Kannada Medium) students distributed food kits to 50 families of Kannada Medium students of St.Aloysius High School. Prof. Edmund Frank, the Dean of PGDBM was the chief Guest and Fr. Gerald Furtado SJ presided over the event organized by the batch of 89. Each family received food kit worth Rs.1000. We appreciate the efforts of our Alumni in responding to the needs of deserving families of the students during these difficult times.

Police Covid Care Centre at SAC - Video

Covid Care Centre for Police Personnel was inaugurated at  St Aloysius Ladies Staff Hostel, Mangalore on 14th May 2020.  Deputy Commissioner of DK, Sri KV Rajendra inaugurated the centre. Police Commissioner and officials of Police Dept and Health dept were present during the program.

Distribution of the Covid Care Kits

Mangaluru, 14 May 2021: SAC Covid relief team lead by Fr Cyril D'Mello, SJ visited the areas of SC colony in Manki Stand, Jeppina Mogaru, Thokkottu, as well as other areas of Mangalore city. They also visited the students and their parents of St Aloysius College Institutions.

The team delivered food kits for the Covid affected families. This included medicines and medical equipments to their homes.
