Collaboration in Covid Relief with other like Minded People

Vijayapura, 14 May 2021: The Jesuit-run CNFE centre is collaborating with other likeminded people in order to deliver the Covid relief to the deserving people. Hence a meeting was held with APF- Mr Rudresh, the Head of North Karnataka Operations and Mr Aneesh - India head for initiatives.

We discussed on the impacts of our training last year and how it had helped to prevent cases in our slums. We also discussed about the relief that is going to be organized soon. 

Distribution of Medical Equipments in Vijayapura

Vijayapura, 14 May 2021: The Vijayapura Center for Non-Formal Education (CNFE) run by the Jesuits handed over materials to Jillani Hospital, Vijayapura. They were also handed over 2 Oxygen Concentrators and other types of medical equipment organized by the Karnataka Jesuit Province to Shifa Hospital where most of our slum people get treated for a Nominal amount.

We also support Arogya Clinic with 15 beds, which treats Covid patients exclusively. 

Fr Teyol Machado, SJ who is coordinating the relief service in Bijapur also handed over another Oxygen Concentrator and other medical and material help provided by the KJES to Malagi Hospital that treats especially pregnant Women and children.

The first Concentrator delivered to Malagi Hospital is doing super fine!
