Training the Covid Counsellors

Bengaluru, 13 May 2021: Preparing the counsellors to meet the immediate needs of the Covid stress and related problems was acutely felt. Hence, in order to prepare the volunteers for this difficult task a session was organized over the ZOOM platform for the participants hailing from Mangaluru, Bengaluru and other Jesuit Institutions across Karnataka. In addition to learning a number of ways and means in dealing with this current situation, the counsellors are also taught how to do virtual yoga.

Samagra is organising an online yoga session for all staff members of Jesuit institutions on Sunday, May 16th, 2021 from 5-6pm.
This session will include Surya namaskar, simple breathing exercises and asanas.

Anyone from our youngest to oldest members can attend. All you will need to do is find a quiet space in your home and ensure you have eaten your meals at least 3-4hours prior to the session.
Those with medical complications can take their physician's opinion before practising.

*Let’s prioritize our self-care to cope up with these challenging times. *
