Bembala - St Joseph's Outreach Program

 


Inaugural of COVID Care Center and Isolation Centre

 Bengaluru, 19 May 2021: Inaugural of COVID CARE CENTER and  ISOLATION CENTRE took place this morning at 9.30 am at St Joseph's College (Autonomous), Bengaluru. We have set up CCC in collaboration with NGOs, alumni and other donors. This facility is only meant for the poor from slums and migrants. Fr Swebert D'Silva, SJ, Rector of St Joseph's College, inaugurated the centre by lighting the lamp. This is one of the initiatives under Bangalore Jesuit Educational Society (BJES).

Kannada Medium Alumni Sponsors Food Kits

 Mangaluru, 17th, May 2021: The batch of 89 ( Kannada Medium) students distributed food kits to 50 families of Kannada Medium students of St.Aloysius High School. Prof. Edmund Frank, the Dean of PGDBM was the chief Guest and Fr. Gerald Furtado SJ presided over the event organized by the batch of 89. Each family received food kit worth Rs.1000. We appreciate the efforts of our Alumni in responding to the needs of deserving families of the students during these difficult times.
