Davangere: St Aloysius PU College Harihar holds food kit distribution drive

Davangere, Jun 3: 'Helping others is the way we help ourselves'. St Aloysius PU College, Harihar organized a food kit distribution drive on June 1 to provide their support in this time of crisis.

The ration food kits were distributed in the Davangere and Harpanahalli area under the able coordination of Vilisha D’Souza and assisted by the St Aloysius PU College, Harihar Covid task force.

The food kits contained basic necessary items such as rice, dal, oil, jaggery, beaten rice, salt, rava, tea powder and soap.

The food kits were distributed to about 297 private teachers in the Davangere area and 46 food kits to teachers and migrants in Harpanahalli. The principal Baptist Sunny Gudihno, finance officer Fr Rayappa SJ, vice-principal Pushpalatha Urs, scholar Roydon, Br Preethesh, coordinator Vilisha D'Souza, Shivakumar MB and Mohsin along with the student coordinators Mansoor and Akil of IInd year Commerce accompanied by the student volunteers Abdulla, Zabiulla, Azeez, Haris, Faizan, Rakshith, Yeshwanth, Govind, Suprith and Santhosh were present during the distribution.

The student coordinators and the volunteers were at the forefront during the entire food kit distribution.

The people expressed their gratitude to the college for the noble work carried out by the covid task force of the college to help people during this hard time.

St Aloysius PU College, Harihar has always stood strong assessing the needs of the people at the time of crisis. The college also provides other emergency help such as medical kits, ambulance, counseling and KIOSK centers.

Food Kit Drive By St Aloysius PU College-Harihar Continues Helping Needy During Pandemic – FOOD KIT DRIVE ON 31 May 2021

“Let us all be the light that helps others see”

St Aloysius PU College, Harihar organized a Food Kit distribution Drive on the 31st of May to provide their support in this time of crisis. The Ration food kits were distributed in the Davangere and Harihar area under the able coordination of Ms Vilisha D’Souza and assisted by the St Aloysius PU College, Harihar Covid Task Force. The food kits contained basic necessary items such as Rice, Dal, oil, Jaggery, beaten rice, Salt, Rava, Tea powder, and Soap.

The food kits were distributed to about 103 needy families in Davangere, 25 food kits for Asha Workers and 63 food kits for migrants in Harihar. The Vice – Principal Ms Princy Flavia Pinto, Finance Officer Fr Rayappa SJ, coordinator Ms Vilisha D’Souza, Mr Shivakumar MB and Manjunath TS along with the Student coordinators Mansoor and Akil of IInd year Commerce accompanied by the student volunteers Abdulla, Zabiulla, Azeez, Haris, Faizan, Rakshith, Yeshwanth, Govind, Suprith and Santhosh were present during the distribution. ಶಾಂತಿ,ಸಹಕಾರ ಸಹಬಾಳ್ವೆ,ತ್ಯಾಗ,ದಾನ ಗುಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಸರಾದ  ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಂದೇ ತಾಯಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಂತೆ ಸೌಹಾರ್ಧತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಾಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಡಿವೈಎಸ್  ನರಸಿಂಹ ಪಿ.ತಾಮ್ರಧ್ವಜ್ ಕಿವಿಮಾತು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಹರಿಹರ ಕೃಷಿ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಿಹರದ ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜು ವತಿಯಿಂದ  ನೀಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ 150 ದಿನಸಿ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿ ಕಿಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನು  ಆಟೋ ಚಾಲಕರಿಗೆ ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು, ಅವರನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ  ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತ,ಆಟೋ ಚಾಲಕರು  ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಾಣಂತಿಯರು  ಮುಂತಾದ ಅಶಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಆಪತ್ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಚಿತ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕರೆನೀಡಿದರು.

 ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ,ಮೇ 31.www.truemediakannada.in,ಹರಿಹರ, ಕೊರೋನಾ ದಿನೆದಿನೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಕವಾಗಿ ಹರಡುತ್ತಿದೆ, ಆಶಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಹಗಲು ಇರುಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವ ಬದಿಗೊತ್ತಿ ಸಮಾಜಮುಖೀ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಈ ಒಂದು ಕರೋನ ವೈರಸ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋರಾಡಲು ಮುಂಚೂಣಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅಂತಹ ಆಶಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರಿಗೆ ಇಂದು ಹರಿಹರದ ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಪದವಿಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜು ವತಿಯಿಂದ ದಿನಾಂಕ 31-05-2021 ರಂದು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಫಾ. ಎರಿಕ್ ಮಥಾಯಸ್ ರವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಿಹರದ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಕಚೇರಿ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವರ್ಗ ಮತ್ತು ಆಶಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರಿಗೆ 25 ಆಹಾರ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿ ಕಿಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಒಬ್ಬರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ದಿನಸಿ ಕಿಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಮೆರೆದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿ,ವಿವಿಧ ಸಂಘ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಜೊತೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಿದರೆ ಕೊರೋನವನ್ನು ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಮಣಿಸಬಹುದು ತಾಲೂಕು ವೈದ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಡಾಕ್ಟರ್ ಚಂದ್ರಮೋಹನ್ ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು. ನಮ್ಮ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ದಿನಸಿ ಕಿಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಆಹಾರ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿ ಕಿಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಸನ್ನಿ ಗುಡಿನ್ಹೊ, ,ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಟಿಎಸ್, ಫರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

Free Distribution of Oxygen Concentrator and Medicines

 Manvi, 31 May 2021: Sirwar CHC was gifted with an Oxygen concentrator 5L/hr, N-95 masks, surgical masks, pack of Vitamin C, Multivitamin, paracetamol tablets and gargling solution. An MOU has been signed with all the PHCs with the endorsement of the Tahasildhar and THO.

Kallur PHC is also given a 5L/HR Oxygen concentrator along with a few masks and medicine.
